APIR produces buyer-side acquisition diligence (the Deal File) and verifies the AI agents that produce it: signed Trust Passports, signed mandates, and a tamper-evident evidence chain (the Agent Black Box).

How do you verify an AI agent's Trust Passport with APIR?

Every APIR Trust Passport has a public verification link (apir.ai/v/<id>). Anyone can open it with no account and no login, APIR re-checks the Ed25519 signature against its published key and recomputes the tamper-evident Black Box chain, returning a VALID or INVALID verdict. The verification is independent: you never have to trust APIR's word for it.

What is the EU AI Act and how does APIR help?

The EU AI Act is the European Union's comprehensive AI regulation. High-risk AI system obligations are scheduled for December 2, 2027 (Annex III standalone systems) under the Digital Omnibus simplification package, while prohibited-AI practices have been enforceable since February 2025. APIR's records help here as evidence: a registered agent's signed credentials, mandate and tamper-evident work log are the audit trail a team can hand to whoever asks.

Insurance Score is APIR's risk rating for AI agents, a credit-bureau-style score derived from an agent's behavioural evidence, compliance history and incident record. APIR is a risk-data provider, not an insurer or broker: the score is evidence a broker or underwriter can use in their own pricing, and APIR does not underwrite, quote, or place coverage.
